Our Executive Team

George Petriccione, Chairman
Mr. Petriccione is an original founder of Affiliated and has served as the Chairman since 1983. He has worked in the communications business since 1967. During his career he has held a wide range of positions for ATT, Nortel and US Telephone. Most recently he has worked with Nortel development groups on various projects. He has studied, designed and implemented specialized software applications for customers as large as the United States Postal Service. Mr. Petriccione's leadership and longstanding relations with Nortel works to keep Affiliated at the forefront of the communications industry.

Larry Carter, President
Larry Carter has served as President of Affiliated since 1993 and has extensive management experience. He has served as President or Vice President at the following companies:

• Neodata Corporation
• Telesphere
• DSC Communications
• US Telephone Inc.
• Nortel

Larry is also currently a partner in Affinitas, a direct marketing management and consulting company. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Affiliated Telephone Inc., US TransCom, Inc., Affinitas Inc. and Sage Telecom, Inc.

Larry leads the Affiliated team and believes that Affiliated is a communications company that really is in the customer service business. Affiliated is totally committed to customer satisfaction. Management, Sales and Technical personnel share the common goal that customer service is our #1 objective.

Jim Carter, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Jim Carter began his career in telecommunication as a technician for Northern Telecom (Nortel). He joined Affiliated Telephone in 1984 as part of the service department. He has grown with Affiliated and is currently responsible for all sales activities for the company. Jim is also responsible for initiating key 3rd party vendor relationships to round out Affiliated’s product offerings.

Jim is able to lead the Affiliated sales staff because of his solid technical foundation, industry and product knowledge and his commitment to customer satisfaction. His ability to consult on telecommunications strategy, product implementation and special applications provides a valued service to our customers.

Mike Ramsey, General Manager Central Region
Mike Ramsey began his career in 1983 with Nortel and joined Affiliated as a member of the operations team in 1985. Mike has grown with Affiliated and has extensive knowledge in every aspect of the business. His positions have included:

• Warehouse Manager
• Technician
• Sales Engineer
• Operations Manager

Mike was promoted to General Manager and opened the Austin location in 1995. He combines his passion for customer service with his technical knowledge of the Nortel platform. This combination has attracted many of the top accounts in Austin and surrounding areas.

Mike and his team have created a solid presence in Central Texas and Affiliated is now recognized as one of the premier Nortel distributors throughout Texas.
